EXTRAS CASTING CALL FOR FEATURE FILM IN CORBIN, KY
Kentucky
male residents will have the opportunity to audition for roles, and as extras,
in a feature film set to start filming first week of April. Actor Dylan Baker
(Spiderman 2 & 3, Secretariat) will make his directing debut with 23 Blast, a film inspired by the true
story of Travis Freeman, a blind Kentucky
high school football player.
On Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Corbin
High School Field House, an athletic practice facility on the campus, the crew
will hold a combine audition for athletic males (ages 18-30) who are interested
in portraying football players in the film.
Interested men should respond via email with their contact
information to 23blastcasting@gmail.com
They will be asked to bring a photo ID, wear comfortable sportswear, and come
to the Corbin High School Ossie Birch Field House on Wednesday, March 21st
at 6:00pm ready to show off their athleticism. Actors will be asked to run some
agility drills and participate in various warm ups for the camera. NO CONTACT
at the audition. Filming will be on location in Corbin, KY
during the month of April.
